The minimum temperature in the capital city, Shimla, was recorded at 2.4 degrees Celsius, while Dharamshala, the winter capital, experienced a minimum temperature of 4.4 degrees Celsius. Manali, a popular tourist destination, reported a night temperature of minus 0.7 degrees Celsius, Kufri at 0.1 degrees, and Mandi at 0.2 degrees.
In the Lahaul and Spiti district, Kukumseri village took the title of the coldest place in the state, with a bone-chilling minimum temperature of minus 8.1 degrees Celsius.
